Sector Explanation
Recently MEFA has performed/is conducting design and construction works in two important cities of Turkey mainly İstanbul and Mersin. Mersin Province is located in the South East Region of Turkey near the Mediterranean Cost, and has a population of two million people. On the other hand, Free Trade Zone located within the boundaries of Mersin Province that causes high in-migration and heavy international commerce traffic pushes rapid expansion of the city. With reference to completed and on-going works in Mersin City, it can be said that MEFA has put its signature for the emerging new identity of the city.
MEFA’s on-going and completed projects in Mersin have made great contribution to urban face of the city with design and construction of the following services:
Design and Construction of seashore landfill and arrangement (Parks, public squares, pedestrian, jogging and biking roads, decorative pools, art structures, irrigation systems and lightening systems)
Design and Construction of 35km Boulevard and connection streets, as well as 35m wide Ring-road and related pedestrian roads
Design and construction of storm water drainage and sewage systems
On the other hand, İstanbul is one of the biggest cities in the world with its population reaching to eleven million and a location in 5,512kilometer square. MEFA has contributed to the social development projects of the city with various infrastructure construction works.
Currently, MEFA is implementing two important road and infrastructure projects in İstanbul:
Construction of Sultanbeyli Çeşme Bus stop TEM (Trans European Motorway) km 18+880 additional bridge and roads, and arranged crossroads
Construction of underground highway crossing, crossroads and infrastructure for Gençosman and Talatpaşa avenues in Kağıthane District
In the past MEFA has also constructed the İstanbul New Vegetable Wholesale Market building and conducted the related infrastructure woks for the commercial area, which has a heavy traffic during working days.
Last but not the least; MEFA has contributed to the construction of Sakarya University Esentepe Campus located on 220 hectare with serving to more than 20,000 students and 2,000 academic staff. MEFA has not only constructed various faculties and social buildings in the campus, but also designed and constructed all infrastructure works.
